How do you protect my identity?
By default your salary is stored with no link to your email — the two live in separate systems with no shared key, and we couldn’t look yours up if we wanted to. We also fuzz submission timestamps and never show anything more precise than the month.
When do I get access to the data?
As soon as you submit and verify your email. Identifying details stay hidden until enough similar submissions exist to keep everyone anonymous.
Is it really anonymous?
Yes. Nothing that could identify you is ever shown publicly. We never ask who you are, and by default there’s no link between your email and your compensation. If you’d rather be able to correct your entry later, you can choose to connect it to your account — and disconnect it whenever you like.
Can I remove my submission?
You get a one-time deletion token the moment you submit. Use it any time to permanently erase your row — no email or account required. If you connected the entry to your account, you can delete it from there instead.
Why do you ask for my email?
Only to confirm you’re a real person and to send you the report. It’s kept in a separate system and isn’t tied to your salary unless you explicitly ask us to connect an entry so you can correct it.
